A short animated film about the current pressure to live life to the fullest and fill our schedules with activities to the brim, despite detrimental effects to our happiness.
Ultramaglajz was made using traditional pencil-drawn animation. Digital post-production was used to merge individual layers into a single image.
A music video for Singularity, a single by Alamance, a rock band from the US.
The story follows a relentless adventurer as he journeys towards heavenly pillars symbolizing greatness.
Singularity's music video is a one-man project. I oversaw the entire production pipeline from the very first concepts, character designs and storyboards to animation, editing and post-production.
A series of short animated sequences for Lord of All Future Space and Time, a live action film directed by Chris Paul Russell.
In a crazy sci-fi and western hybrid, a grief-stricken cowboy discovers a way how to turn back time which sends him on an journey full of absurdity and evaporating lineages. Animation is used in key moments to visualize complex ideas that would be impossible to get across in regular film.
A set of visualizers for Die Januszeit's debut EP, Strange Feeling.
The cover for this EP inspired the visual aesthetic. The basis for both is a lo-fi square shape that morphs into a variety of constellations. Both videos were mostly made using 3D, with some 2D sequences thrown here and there.
A collection of extremely short animated films for an on-going social media art project that allows users to discover new music in an unconventional manner.
All of the animations follow the same structure. A short story segment is followed by a cut to an animated loop with no sound. Users that play SyncIt comment what song the animated loop reminds them of. At the end of the week, a playlist of all the recommended songs gets shared and people get to discover new music which they might have never found otherwise.
